Our last stop on this trip was Cape Hatteras off the North Carolina shore. We stayed at the State park on a site with no hook ups so we were off grid relying on solar for electric needs and had stopped to fill the fresh water tank on the way in.
It is a great park and we could walk to the beach from our site.
This is a shot from on top of the rig looking towards the beach which is beyond the dunes..
The beach was great and the area is extremely popular with kiters, wind surfers, kite surfers and fisherman…tons of people fishing from the shore.
It was a quiet couple of days and the perfect end to a great Spring trip getting us primed for summer.
We had two long driving days( each 10 hours) to get back to Perth.
