E – Chillin’ in Port St. Joe

When I first booked Port St. Joe I was looking for a stop on the way to New Orleans from south Florida that would give us a couple days of beach relaxation and Port St. Joe didn’t disappoint. The park we stayed in was right on St. Josephs Bay which is separated from the Gulf of Mexico by a long skinny peninsula that is almost one big long sandy beach. We had a spot right on the water and the sunsets were amazing.

Whether I was looking out the back window or sitting in a chair outside…spectacular.

I had to get the flat tire looked at and found BJ’s Tire repair in St. Joe. Dealt with BJ himself, great service…they plugged it up and I went to pay him and he says “dont charge for tire repairs”…no wonder the place was so busy 😊.

As I said we wanted a day at the beach and Di had done a couple of bike rides…(the only use my bike has seen so far is riding around the different parks we have been in). We headed out for the peninsula and the TH Stone Peninsula State Park. Awesome beach with next to no one on it.

Going for a walk.

Next up…New Orleans
