Diane: Sand Beach

I started the morning with a bike ride along the backroads in our area. Even off official bike routes, the roads are really well-maintained and drivers are respectful of cyclists.

When we were cycling on Wednesday through Acadia National Park, E spied a beautiful beach. We headed there on Friday for a little down time. Here are a few pics, along with one of our cool L.L. Bean beach hut:

  2. Looks really nice there. By the way I’m reading a book about the history of bikes and, apparently, the fourth king of Bhutan (very mountainous between India and China) introduced the bicycle to Bhutan and can still be seen bicycling. Description of his bike riding sounds like Ian’s down the hill in Acadia.

I like your beach hut. Smart shopping.
Sleep well tonight after all that fresh air.
