Wheelin' and Rockin' with DIanE

Well you should never leave Cape Cod on a holiday Monday. Yesterday was a rather long travel day. It started out fine enough, we targeted a 9 o’clock departure and we’re out the gate by 9:15…within 20 minutes we realized “holy smokes, this is like coming down from the Muskokas on a Sunday or holiday Monday!” There is only one highway off the Cape and it was literally stop and go all the way until we were clear of the Cape. Then about 45 minutes later it started raining and didn’t stop until sometime last night after we fell asleep. All in all it was a 9 hour haul that was rather tiring but on the bright side a valuable lesson for future travels😄.

It was still raining when we got to Bar Harbour and set up was done in the rain but we are now settled in and here until Saturday.

I have had a few comments about posting more pictures and will endeavour to do so. Di has always been more of a picture taker than me, funny thing is I love looking at pictures and always glad that someone is taking them.
